By the time I finish writing this sentence, the world will have changed.
Change is constant. Though this fact makes some people nervous, change can actually bring relief. When things are painful and difficult, something new is on the horizon.
To effectively educate our children (and ourselves) we need to prepare for a changing world.

To embrace this reality we need to:
–Teach children to connect with their own

personal security so they can put their attention on
living life and not fearing it.
-Encourage children to think, not just objectively,
but creatively and intuitively.
-Teach children to “act” by making things and
doing things.
Change is not passive. It involves movement.
Our current schooling model focuses on academics. Children are taught to take in information, but not to act on it. Thinking has been reduced almost entirely to knowledge recall. Instead, encourage children to think deeply and act with what Rudolph Steiner suggested: their Head, Heart and Hands.
