Most training programs run on guesswork. Custom Fit replaces it with measurement. At its San Francisco studios, Personal Training and Partner Training memberships include unlimited DEXA body-composition scans and VO2 max testing — diagnostics usually sold one scan at a time or reserved for specialized clinics. Custom Fit members can test as often as they train. The reasoning is straightforward. A DEXA scan measures fat, lean muscle, and bone density with clinical precision. A VO2 max test measures the body's maximum oxygen uptake, one of the strongest predictors of cardiovascular fitness and long-term health. Run those tests on a regular cadence and a member can see exactly what is changing, where, and whether a program is working — rather than relying on the scale or the mirror. That is the idea behind Custom Fit's positioning: not a gym, a performance lab. Every program is built from a member's measured body composition and cardiovascular capacity, then adjusted as the data moves. The goal is to eliminate the guesswork that defines most fitness routines and to treat training as something you can verify. The model also brings longevity diagnostics that usually live in concierge medicine into a routine training week. Body composition and cardiovascular capacity are central markers of how well a person is aging, and regular testing keeps those numbers visible rather than treating them as an occasional, expensive add-on. Custom Fit operates in Hayes Valley (323 Octavia Street), on Market Street (1844 Market), and with a Downtown San Francisco location on Battery Street (570 Battery) opening soon. Firstly, we will start you off with a delicious homemade vegan dinner and a beverage. Then we get to leatherwork! Yes, you can make a leather crossbody! We choose cute, but simple designs. The result is a bag which you will love &amp; use! We make sure that the classes and designs are accessible for a first timer . You will learn some basic leather work skills and walk about with your very own handmade crossbody bag. Along the way you get to make some key design decisions - on straps, closures &amp; hardware. So the bag you walk away with is unique and yours. The bag itself has a removable strap (choose between leather or guitar strap), and an inside pocket. A choice of colors of high grade leather be available. 30% of the leather we use was previously disgarded, and we strive hard to keep waste to a minimum.

Childbirth Preparation (formerly Great Expectations) is designed to help expentant parents ready themselves for the practical, physical and emotional challenges of childbirth. Topics covered: <li>Anatomy and Pre-Labor</li> <li>Onset of Labor</li> <li>The 3 stages of Labor</li> <li>The Labor Partners Role</li> <li>Comfort Measures</li> <li>Pain Management Options</li> <li>Caesrean Section</li> <li>Postpartum care Infant care and breastfeeding are not covered in this course Register at the fourth month of pregnancy. Participants are advised to complete their childbirth preparation class a month to six weeks prior to their due date. Join us on Friday, July 24, for an evening of live music, estate-grown Woodside Vineyards wines, and food served from AutoVino’s restored 1955 Flxible diner bus.
The Milk Chasers bring experienced musicianship, familiar songs, and lively energy to the AutoVino Wine Garden. Their energetic mix of rock and roll, surf, R&amp;B, folk, and Americana from the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s creates the perfect soundtrack for relaxing with friends and kicking off the weekend.
It’s the perfect Friday night: wine in the garden, the smell of wood-fired cooking, warm AutoVino hospitality, rare and exotic cars inside the Grand Showroom, and live music under the summer sky.
🎶 LIVE MUSIC BY THE MILK CHASERS
The Milk Chasers feature Al Hudelson on guitar and vocals, Phil Sollar on drums and vocals, and Leslie Freed on bass and vocals.
The Bay Area trio combines rock and roll, surf, R&amp;B, folk, and Americana from the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s into an energetic, crowd-pleasing performance centered on connection, nostalgia, and fun.
Their broad repertoire moves easily between relaxed favorites and upbeat classics, creating an engaging performance for longtime fans and for guests discovering the band for the first time.
🍕 PIZZA AND WOOD-FIRED WINGS FROM THE FLXIBLE DINER BUS
Inside AutoVino’s renovated 1955 Flxible diner bus, Nate makes hand-stretched Neapolitan-style pizzas with 48-hour fermented dough. Nick, a chef trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, prepares wood-fired chicken wings in a 900-degree oven for a crispy exterior and tender meat. Both dishes are among the best in town and pair perfectly with Woodside Vineyards wine.
🧀 INGE’S CHARCUTERIE BOARDS
Inge’s artisan charcuterie boards feature a variety of salami, prosciutto, cheeses, olives, nuts, crackers, and sweet jellies. They can be customized for different group sizes and pair well with Woodside Vineyards wines, including Cabernet and Chardonnay.

Prokofiev wrote the playful Overture on Hebrew Themes in New York in 1919 at the request of the Zimro Ensemble, a touring group of Russian-Jewish immigrant musicians.
Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 26, reimagined by Timo Andres, adds inventive cadenzas adapted for a chamber ensemble - while preserving the music’s beauty and charm.Louise Costigan-Kerns is a gifted pianist whose previous appearances with Redwood Symphony have been noted for their magical artistry.
Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1, composed after years of piano works and concertos, stands as a tribute to the traditions of Mozart and the still-living Haydn while showcasing Beethoven’s own startlingly independent spirit.
