Fire Erupts At Peninsula Commercial Building

SAN CARLOS, CA -- Firefighters extinguished a two-alarm fire at a commercial building in San Carlos this evening, according to fire officials.

Redwood City Fire Department officials said on social media around 6:20 p.m. that firefighters were responding to a blaze in the 100 block of Industrial Road.

Fire officials said around 6:30 p.m. that the fire had been extinguished. They did not say whether any injuries were reported.

Industrial Road was closed in both directions between Harbor Boulevard and Quarry Road during the fire.

A cause for the blaze remains under investigation.
