Firefighters Doused 5-Acre Vegetation Fire in Cordilleras Heights
No one was injured in the blaze and the fire knocked down power lines.

Firefighters extinguished a 5-acre vegetation fire this evening in the Cordilleras Heights neighborhood of unincorporated Redwood City, Cal Fire officials said.
Firefighters responded to Edgewood Road and Canada Road at about 5:50 p.m., a tweet by Cal Fire said.
The fire knocked down power lines, according to Cal Fire officials.

Firefighters contained the fire to five acres at about 6 p.m., Cal Fire officials said.
No one was injured and no buildings sustained damage, Cal Fire spokesman Scott McLean said.
