Free 'Tipsy Tows' Offered On St. Patrick's Day In The Bay Area
The automobile club in Northern California is offering free tows to prevent drinking and driving this Saturday.

BAY AREA, CA — Bay Area drivers who are planning on heading out to party with some green beer this Saturday don't need to be worried about getting stranded at a bar — nor should they push their luck of the Irish by getting behind the wheel after drinking. AAA Northern California is again offering its popular "tipsy tow" service.
"St. Patrick’s Day is widely celebrated by drinking green beer and other spirits, so we urge revelers to include a safe ride home in their plans for the evening," the agency's spokesman, Michael Blasky, said. "Should your luck run out, AAA’s Tipsy Tow will be there to help get you home safely."
Drivers, passengers, party hosts, bartenders and/or restaurant managers (or little green leprechauns) who would like to hail a ride just need to call: 1-800-AAA-HELP and ask for a "tipsy tow." You do not need to be a AAA member to utilize the service.
