Geography Whiz Kid To Be Honored By Mayor

Tuvya Bergson-Michelson will be commended for his outstanding performance in the National Geography Bee at Monday night’s city council meeting when Mayor Andy Klein formally recognizes the 10-year-old’s achievement.

On April 1 of this year, Tuvya finished in 8^th place out of 100 youngsters who competed for the title of geography bee champion. Months earlier, Tuvya - a San Carlos native - won the California state-wide geography bee to qualify for the national competetion in Washington D.C.
