Mountain Lion Spotted in Woodside Late Wednesday

Anyone who sees a mountain lion is urged not to approach it, especially if the animal is feeding or with offspring.

A mountain lion sighting was reported in Woodside on Wednesday night, according to San Mateo County sheriff’s officials.

The sighting was reported at about 10:30 p.m. in the area of Kings Mountain and Woodside roads, according to the sheriff’s office.

Anyone who sees a mountain lion is urged not to approach it, especially if the animal is feeding or with offspring.
