A 70-year-old Belmont man was behind the wheel of the Corolla and "is fully cooperating with the investigation," Zuno said — adding that drugs or alcohol do not appear to be factors in the incident.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call sheriff's Sgt. Jason Peardon at (650) 372-3215.
