How Will Brad Lewis Impact The Vote For Mayor?

A new mayor will be appointed Monday night at 7 p.m. inside the San Carlos city council chambers.

Since the sudden passing of Omar Ahmad, Vice Mayor Andy Klein has been the city’s acting mayor. Now, with the appointment of Brad Lewis to the dais official, the five-member council will vote to appoint the new mayor.

 Will Klein be voted into the seat, as so many vice mayors before him? How will Lewis’ vote tip the scale, and in what direction?
