Restaurant Row: Station Cafe

The Station Café offers one of the most varied and traditional menus in the city, and has been one of the most recommended restaurants to San Carlos Patch since we’ve begun writing this weekly column.

Serving breakfast, fresh salads, an assortment of pastas and entrees like lamb shank or chicken piccata, the Station Café has developed a reputation for delicious and affordable food.

But it’s the restaurant's friendly atmosphere and employees that has many returning.

One reader wrote us, saying, “The owner is so friendly and open and most willing to explain the joys and pitfalls of starting a small restaurant.  They are in the process of expanding (it is a very small dining area) and redecorating a bit.”

This combination of tasty food and warm hospitality has made the Station Café a city favorite.
