San Carlos Force 10C Team Holding Fundraiser

The team hopes to raise enough funds to help offset travel expenses by hosting a Hit-a-Thon fundraiser.

This year’s San Carlos Youth Softball Association (SCYSA) 10C team qualified to compete in the California State Games in San Diego beginning July 19 by placing fifth out of 27 teams at the Northern California Championships held in June.

The team is made up of 9 and 10 year old girls who all share a love of competitive level softball.  The team started the summer season with a goal of representing San Carlos at the California State Games in San Diego and the strong finish at the Nor Cal qualifier ensured a bid to the State Games.

The team hopes to raise enough funds to help offset travel expenses by hosting a Hit-a-Thon fundraiser.

Each player will receive five pitches, marking their one farthest hit of the five. You may sponsor a player by donating a pledge per foot or a flat donation.  Ball distances may range from 150-250 feet. The hit-a-thon will take place on Thursday and donations will be collected by Saturday.

The San Carlos Youth Softball Association (SCYSA) is a non-profit organization operated 100% by volunteers. The tax ID# 94-3131530.

Checks should be payable to SCYSA and sent to Roxanne Earnshaw 956 Tamarack Ave., San Carlos, CA 94070 or given to the player you sponsored for them to turn in.
