San Carlos Plane Crash Injures 2
BREAKING: Sheriff's officials say two people were hurt in the Friday night incident.

SAN CARLOS, CA — A small plane crashed at the San Carlos Airport Friday evening, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office and FAA officials. The crash occurred at about 6 p.m. on Skyway Road in San Carlos, near the airport's runway. Reports indicate the plane may have run off the end of the runway during an attempted departure.
The two passengers onboard suffered minor injuries, sheriff's officials said.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area Friday evening and the National Transportation Safety Board will conduct an investigation into the crash, according to sheriff's officials.

CBS SF Bay Area reports the plane ran off the end of the runway and through a fence before stopping on Skyway Road.
