San Carlos Pony All-Stars are Seeded Second
The 13-year-old team is one game away from playing South San Francisco for the championship of the district tournament.

Despite winning every game its played in pool play, the San Carlos 13-year-old Pony all-star team was seeded second at the District tournament at Belle Aire School in San Bruno.
South San Francisco won the tie-breaker and reached the championship game, set to be played Sunday at 10 a.m.
San Carlos beat San Mateo, 19-5, in its most recent game and will play the survivor of two elimination games Friday and Saturday morning among San Mateo, San Bruno and Belmont for the right to play Sunday for the title.

In the win over San Mateo on Thursday, Garrett McCarthy hit a triple and Evan Yedinak, Erik Bedrosian and Max Michelini each added a double.
The winning pitcher for San Carlos was Garrett Lockhart, with relief help from Dillon Palala and Adam Stafford.
San Carlos managed to get all 15 eligible players into the contest, which was ended after five innings. Every player who batted reached base in some form.
