SMC Transportation Authority Announces Call for Highway Projects Workshop

The goal of the program is to fund highway and roadway projects that reduce congestion and improve safety on commute corridors.

From San Mateo TA: In anticipation of the third Measure A Highway Program Call for Projects (CFP), the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA) will be hosting a Highway Program CFP Application Workshop.

The goal of the Measure A Highway Program is to fund highway and roadway projects that reduce congestion and improve safety on commute corridors. Up to $75 million could be made available for projects meeting the evaluation criteria. The funds are collected as part of the Measure A transportation program passed by the San Mateo County voters in 2004.

TA staff will provide an overview of the Highway CFP. Workshop materials will include; program guidelines, evaluation criteria, the application form and significant proposed policy revisions. Participants will have the opportunity to inquire about project eligibility and other related questions.
