SWAT, Police Nab Suspected Drug Dealers, Thieves In Peninsula Operation: Cops

SAN MATEO, CA — After months of investigating an alleged drug-dealing operation in town, San Mateo police arrested four people this week on suspicion of narcotics-related offenses, the agency announced. According to police, at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, the police investigation culminated when police and a SWAT team executed a search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of East Santa Inez Avenue.
"This is the culmination of a months-long investigation into a residence and suspects active in both property crimes and narcotics dealing," police said in a news release.
Prior to serving the search warrant, police say they conducted extensive planning to ensure the community was safe, including the issuance of local notices of the operation.

"The warrant was served without incident and four suspects are safely in custody for narcotic related offenses," police said. "Several ounces of narcotics have been seized."
