Take Caltrain to Band Together Bay Area

On Nov. 9, AT&T Park will host Band Together Bay Area, a benefit concert for North Bay Fire recovery.

From Caltrain News: Thursday, November 9, AT&T Park will host Band Together Bay Area, a benefit concert for North Bay Fire recovery. Metallica, G-Eazy, Rancid, Dave Matthews, Dead & Company and Raphael Saadiq will be providing the music, while Caltrain is on hand to deliver the audience.

Caltrain’s weekday schedule includes plenty of trains that will arrive at the San Francisco Caltrain Station at 4th and King in time for the 6 p.m. start time. Extra capacity will be provided after the end of the event. The last train will depart at 12:05 a.m. Post-event trains will make all regular local weekday stops.

Caltrain is a proof-of-payment system; tickets are not sold onboard trains but can be purchased at vending machines at the stations. To save time on the return trip, fans are encouraged to buy a Day Pass. Clipper card users are reminded to tag on and tag off.

Open alcoholic beverage containers are not allowed onboard trains starting at 9 p.m.

Parking at Caltrain stations costs $5.50 for the day, and permits can be purchased at station ticket machines. Paid parking rules are enforced throughout the day.
