Teen Arrested on Suspicion of Auto Theft in San Carlos
A man was arrested early Sunday morning in connection with an auto theft in San Carlos.

San Carlos, CA -- A man was arrested early Sunday morning in connection with an auto theft in San Carlos, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were dispatched to the 1300 block of Elm Street at 3:24 a.m. on reports of an in-progress auto burglary.
A witness told dispatch they had observed a suspicious man looking into cars.

Upon arrival, deputies located the man, 19-year-old Eliot Rodriguez, allegedly burglarizing a car.
Deputies located burglary tools and evidence of several other burglaries as well.

Rodriguez was arrested on suspicion of auto burglary and possession of burglary tools and was booked into San Mateo County Jail.
