What To Expect From Monday's City Council Meeting

Items to be discussed at this Monday's meeting.

On Monday night, inside the city council chambers at 600 Elm St at 7 p.m., the city council will reconvene to discuss important issues facing the community.

Here are the topic that will be discussed:

- The council will discuss a new sewer ordinance that staff says will have a "positive fiscal impact on the City of San Carlos because it will help the City to reduce sewer backups and sanitary sewer overflows," according to city records.

Council members will vote to approve or deny the ordinance presented. 

- The awarding of a contract to Bartel Associates, LLC for actuarial services related to Other Postemployment Benefits, retiree medical benefits.

- The authorization of the Public Works Director/City Engineer to approve the certification of the San Carlos portion of the Redwood Shores levee system.

- Also, a quarterly fire department update will be presented to the council.
