What Would a Kindergartner Do?

I often ask this question when listening to the news. Whether an issue of politics, race, healthcare, violence, greed or warfare, a kindergartner would know what is the right and good thing to do. It really is that simple. It is adults whose thinking gets addled.

Young children surely lack the “sophistication” and life experience to fully understand the world’s biggest challenges, but in their innocence is something pure, good and truthful. There is no ego present to obfuscate issues. Permission to harm someone is not in their consciousness. That alone is a teaching they could give us that would change the world.
