• OC Officials Debate Emergency Declaration from Storm Damage (mynewsla.com) — San Clemente officials are pressing Orange County leaders to declare a storm-related emergency, as local rail service through town remains shut while crews repair damage near the coast. County supervisors are split over whether an emergency order would speed help or complicate finances, even as neighboring cities Dana Point and Laguna Beach have already declared local emergencies.
