SAN CLEMENTE, CA — Early trick-or-treating is set to return to part of Downtown San Clemente on Saturday, Oct. 24, with businesses handing out candy starting at 3 p.m., according to the San Clemente Downtown Business Association.
Treat Street will run from 4 to 7 p.m. on Avenida Del Mar and nearby blocks of El Camino Real. Participating shops will display a purple balloon to show they are handing out treats. Families are encouraged to come in costume and stroll the area.
Merchants can reserve a free purple balloon from Mikii's On Del Mar and pick it up between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at 220 Avenida Del Mar. Event details are listed on the association's website.
