Are You Ready for Woofstock 2014?

The San Onofre Parks Foundation, whose mission is to support education and interpretive efforts of California State Parks at San Clemente and San Onofre State Beaches, is presenting the second annual Woofstock – People and Paws for our State Parks fundraising and community outreach event benefitting SOPF and Pet Project Foundation (PPF) on October 26, 2014.

The fun, family and Dog Friendly extravaganza will benefit pets and the environment. Woofstock’s goal is to promote respect and preservation throughout San Onofre and San Clemente State Beaches, both among the best dog friendly parks in Southern California.

• FREE Parking at Concordia Elementary School, conveniently dog walk-able to San Clemente State Beach Campfire Center & Nature Area

EVENT ACTIVITIES

• Woofstock activities include: live entertainment, K-9 demonstrations, Ask The Trainer booth, pet related vendors and animal rescue groups, dog and human costume contests, a dog parade along Butterfly Trail, pet games, Halloween themed photo op booth, free face painting and children’s activities, raffles and refreshments
• Generous pet related Sponsors, vendors and local businesses are attending Woofstock
• Woofstock promotes environmental awareness through education and outreach

EVENT PROCEEDS directly benefit:

• Pet Project Foundation for the care and welfare of animals at the San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter
• San Onofre Parks Foundation for annual pet waste station costs and new station upgrades within the parks
