Citizens support nature at Fairview Park event
This weekend at GoatHill railroad in Fairview Park the interest in ceasing the paving of open space was clear.
It was heartening to see the public interest in leaving Fairview Park’s open space and Banning Ranch’s amazing habitat AS THEY ARE - not developed, not paved, not turned into unneeded ball fields.
The level of commitment shown by people fighting the impending development of Banning Ranch was very impressive by people who have nothing to gain pouring their time and energy into the conservation of nature.
Congratulations to both the citizens who signed petitions against the massive density increases currently being approved by some elements of the local city council in Costa Mesa.
