NIGHT WORK ON CAMINO DE LOS MARES THROUGH AUGUST 17

August 2, 2021…San Clemente, California…The City of San Clemente's Street Rehabilitation Project on Camino De Los Mares, from Avenida Vaquero to the I-5 freeway, requires night work due to traffic volume and for public safety. Starting Sunday August 1 until Tuesday August 17, the work includes grinding, paving, utilities adjustment and striping. Night work starts at 7:00 p.m. and ends at 5:00 a.m.

Freeway ramps at Camino De Los Mares/Camino De Estrella will be closed on August 3, 5 and 10 from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Residents are encouraged to use alternate routes. Detours will be set up for the use of Vista Hermosa during ramp closures.

The street rehabilitation may cause temporary inconveniences because of the nature of the work. We appreciate your patience during this period of the project. For project updates, text MARES to 888777.
