City Of San Clemente Urgently Hiring Aquatic Positions
In order to fill needed seasonal positions, the City of San Clemente is hosting an Aquatics Hiring Fair on April 23.
SAN CLEMENTE, CA — Do you have what it takes to help save lives? The City of San Clemente's Beaches, Parks and Recreation Department is hosting an Aquatics Hiring Fair on April 23, with seasonal and year-round opportunities available for new hires immediately.
In particular, the city is looking for pool lifeguards, water safety instructors and head lifeguards.
To participate in the upcoming job fair, certification is not required. All residents need to do to apply is fill out a hiring application, participate in a swim test and complete an interview.

Interested applicants are asked to come prepared with a swimsuit and towel for the swim test, as well as a change of clothes for the interview portion of the fair.
For the onboarding portion, candidates will need to bring a photo ID. Candidates under the age of 18 are required to have a parent or guardian present at the job fair and will need to obtain a work permit once hired, the city said.
