CRIME REPORTS: Drunk Girls in the Park, Landscape Vandals
These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log throughout the past few days.

At 1:54 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 1100 block of Calle Del Cerro. According to the report, a man and woman were seen in a heated verbal argument in the Whispering Winds apartment complex and appeared to be very intoxicated. The man was later seen hitting the woman while she laid on the ground.
At 1:51 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a burglary in the 400 block of Avenida Vaquero. The report stated that a man was seen breaking into a black Mercedes Benz that was left unlocked. The informant yelled at the man and he took off running on Calle Vaquero towards the beach.
At 12:45 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 1800 block of Calle De Los Alamos. The informant was reportedly disturbed and four female minors who were intoxicated and being loud in Leslie Park.

At 10:38 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 1500 block of Via Tulipan. According to the report, there was a loud party in progress where several minors were driving around the street intoxicated. There was no report of an arrest.
At 9:22 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a vandalism in progress in the 600 block of Avenida Victoria. According to the report, four to five subjects were seeing tearing up the landscaping at the entrance to the pier. The informant saw the subjects ripping out flowers and and other plants. There was no report of an arrest.

At 9:16 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Plaza Flora and Vista Montana intersection. According to the report, a group of minors were seen throwing objects at passing vehicles and hit the informants windshield. There was no damage to the vehicle and the objects used by the minors were reportedly white.
At 11:44 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a suspicious circumstance near the Camino Mira Costa and Calle Guaymas intersection. According to the report, there was a group siting on a picnic bench in Mira Costa Park who were being loud and smoking some kind of illegal drugs.
At 10:26 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to investigate a person down near the North El Camino Real and Avenida Del Mar intersection. The report stated that a man in a white t-shirt had passed out on the curb in front of a bar there.
At 11:48 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 100 block of Avenida San Gabriel. According to the report, the informant was frightened by a male transient who was sleeping in a sleeping bag and requested that police make the man leave.
At 6:02 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a burglary in progress near the West Canada and Calle Puente intersection. According to the report, several men were seen breaking into a white truck. When the informant questioned the subjects they took off running on towards a shopping center on Canada. It was unknown if any items were taken from the vehicle.
