CRIME REPORTS: Creepy Old Man, Dog Poop Dispute
These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Dispatch Services Log throughout the past few days.

At 2:47 p.m. Monday, a caller reported found property near the Camino Mira Costa and Calle Guaymas intersection. According to the report, the informant’s three-year-old-son found a 6 inch knife in a plastic bag in a park.
At 11:50 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 700 block of Avenida Pico. According to the report, a student at San Clemente High School was being verbally abusive to a teacher and was kicked out of class and attempted to re-enter. Police detained the student near the football bleachers.
At 9:39 a.m. Monday, deputies assisted firefighters in the 900 block of El Camino Real. According to the report, a man was transported to San Clemente Medical Center for inhaling a large amount of Clorox.

At 11:45 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to conduct a patrol check near the East Avenida Pico and Camino La Pedriza intersection. The report stated that a large water main had broken and was spraying water into the air. City services were called to run to off the water.
At 9:37 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a firework violation near the Camino Marinero and Calle Del Cima intersection. The informant reported there was a group of subject lighting off illegal firecrackers in their cul-de-sac.

At 7:29 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a burglary in progress in the 400 block of Calle Alicia. According to the report, the informant came home and found a “creepy old man” in his house. The man managed to entered the home from an unlocked door. The man told the informant he was running for president and was eventually led out of the neighborhood.
At 6:35 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported municipal code violations near the Calle Amistad and Camino La Prediza intersection. The informant witnessed a man working on his vehicle and proceeded to dump oil down the storm drain.
At 6:14 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a suspicious person near the North El Camino Real and Avenida Pico intersection. According to the report, a group of minors were seen in a black Honda drinking a bottle of tequila while in a parking lot. There was no report of an arrest.
At 12:16 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to assist a citizen in the 700 block of Via Presa. According to the report, the informant was upset about a man to told her to “f-off” after she asked him to pick up his dog's poop. The informant wished to file a report about the situation.
