CRIME REPORTS: Water Balloons Chucked from Escalade

At 1:49 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of La Ronda. The informant was reportedly disturbed by several subjects smoking marijuana underneath a complex. There was no report of an arrest. 

At 9:00 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a suspicious person near the East Avenida Pico and Calle Amanecer intersection. The report stated that a man was seen walking unsteadily into the street and was not stopping for traffic. The man was in his 40s had blonde hair.

At 8:41 a.m. Monday, deputies were called to investigate a person down in the 800 block of Avenida Pico. According to the report, a possibly drunk man in his 30s had passed out in the street.

At 4:30 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of Avenida Santa Margarita. The informant was reportedly disturbed by at least four subjects who were siting inside a Toyota tuck. The subjects were being loud and flashing lights into the informant’s residence. 

At 12:23 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 1700 block of El Camino Real. Police were reportedly dispatched to a call from Knuckleheads bar for subjects throwing water balloons at patrons from a gold Escalade. The vehicle was last seen heading east on Avenida Pico.

At 11:02 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a drunk in public in the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares. The report stated a woman was escorted out of the Kirkorian Theatre by a security officer for being extremely intoxicated. Police detained the woman and transported her to 409 Vaquero street.

At 9:28 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a drunk in public near the Avenida Del Presidente and Avenida Ramona intersection. According to the report, a drunk subject was detained after siting on an embankment off Presidente while yelling obscenities. 

At 8:34 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of Avenida Miramar. According to the report, two subjects were detained after getting into a heated argument with each other. The report stated one of the subjects was armed with a baseball bat, and the caller heard glass breaking. 

At 7:36 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of Avenida Mesita. The report stated that several minors were heard using a bull horn and yelling obscenities near the informant’s residence. 

At 9:06 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a drunk driver near the Avenida Fabricante and Calle Extremo intersection. According to the report, a suspected drunk driver was seen dumping trash into a dumpster and hit a parked vehicle in a tan Dodge Caravan. The driver was also seen doing donuts.
