Daughter Allegedly Beats Up Mom

At 6:44 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a battery in the 2600 block of Via Cascadita. The informant claimed that her 55-year-old daughter had beaten her up. Deputies arrested the woman immediately. She is currently in custody with bail set at $50,000.

At 6:39 a.m. Tuesday, a concerned caller told deputies about a stranger lying on her porch in the 300 block of Santa Barbara. The informant stated a man was passed out in front of the walkway of her home.
At 5:33 p.m. Tuesday, someone called the sheriff's department about a suspicious woman at the intersection of Camino De Los Mares and Calle Agua. The caller said there was a woman dressed in all blue running in the middle of traffic.
At 7:44 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a vandalism in progress in the 4200 block of Calle Mayo. The informant explained that he had witnessed two male teenagers spray-painting his fence.
