School Bus Driver Loses Control
SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a Target thief is caught, a burglary in progress didn't go the suspect's way, and a screaming restaurant patron.

At 4:06 p.m. Friday Nov. 22, deputies received a report of a disturbance near the cross streets of South El Camino Real and Avenida Barcelona. A caller, a middle school bus driver, said approximately 20 children on the bus were out of control and could not be calmed down.

At 9:08 a.m. Thursday Nov. 21, a caller reported a grand theft in the 900 block of Avenida Vista Hermosa. A man had stolen something from the local Target and was getting away. Deputies quickly arrived and arrested a 20-year-old. He has since been released from jail.
At 1:37 p.m. Friday Nov. 22, a worried caller reported a burglary in progress in the 2700 block of Via Montezuma. A woman claimed a man in a red hoodie was inside her home. Deputies swiftly arrived and arrested a 26-year-old man, who is currently in custody with bail set at $150,000.
At 8:24 p.m. Friday Nov. 22, someone called in a disturbance in the 2300 block of El Camino Real. The caller explained a man was in the middle of a local restaurant, screaming loudly.
