Deputies Nab ID Thief in San Clemente
SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a late pool party, a drunk man passed out in his car and a group of people arguing loudly at 3 a.m.

At 12:51 a.m. Thursday, a caller told deputies his identification had been stolen near the cross streets of South El Camino Real and Avenida Mendocino. The informant claimed the thief was following him. Deputies arrived and arrested a 27-year-old man. The man is currently in custody with a $20,000 bail set.

At 3:36 a.m. Wednesday, an informant told deputies about suspicious people near Colina Rodante and Camino Vera Cruz. The caller claimed a group of people had hopped the fence and were being noisy near the community pool.
At 9:23 a.m. Wednesday, someone called the sheriff’s office to report a drunk man in the 100 block of Avenida San Juan. The informant told deputies that a man was passed out in the front seat of his vehicle with an open bottle of alcohol next to him.
At 3:08 a.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 1000 block of Via Presa. Some men were arguing loudly and drinking near the informant's house.
