Deputies Detain Man Passed out in Carport

At 6:24 a.m. Thursday Sept. 19, an informant called the sheriff’s office to report a drunken man in the 400 block of Avenida Monterey. The man was sleeping inside of a carport with two bottles of alcohol lying next to him. Deputies arrived and arrested the 47-year-old man. The man is currently in custody with a $100,000 bail set.

At 10:46 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 18, someone reported a disturbance in the 100 block of Canada. A man was refusing to leave the premises after being asked multiple times.
At 9:27 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 18, a concerned caller told deputies about a suspicious person near the cross streets of Calle Jade and Calle Onice. The caller was on a jog when a young man in a low-riding, black pick-up truck followed her for a couple of minutes. The driver then began driving toward a local elementary school.
At 3:13 a.m. Thursday Sept. 19, a caller reported vandalism in progress in the 600 block of Avenida Victoria. The caller stated that three teens in dark clothing were tagging signs with permanent markers.
