Drunk Driver Careens over Center Divider, Gets Arrested

At 12:26 a.m. Saturday, someone reported drunk driver near the cross streets of Camino el Molino and Camino de los Mares. The informant watched a white, two-door vehicle careen over the center divider and believed the car had major damage. The driver, a 32-year-old man, was arrested. He has since been released from jail.

At 3:53 a.m. Friday, a caller phoned the sheriff’s department to report a suspicious circumstance in the 600 block of Avenida Victoria. The caller saw two men possibly dealing drugs. No arrest was made.

At 9:07 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 800 block of Via Suerte. Four people were in a physical fight at local restaurant Sundried Tomato.

At 11:48 Saturday, a concerned caller reported a suspicious person in the 500 block of Avenida del Mar. A man was reportedly unconscious in the middle of the street.
