
-The 41st AAUW Home Tour showcases four exciting homes, each with a different slant on California coastal living. Works of local artists and artisans will be on display and available for purchase. Presented by the American Association of University Women, San Clemente-Capistrano Bay Branch
-Tuscan/Mediterranean -This home demonstrates the transformative power of redecorating. The owner took a
bland house and turned it into a Tuscan villa. By removing walls and redesigning spaces, every room, the expansive deck and patio exude the feeling of an entertaining vacation in Italy.

-Hollywood Regency- The elegance of old Hollywood is apparent as soon as one starts up the winding drive.
Designed in 1940 by Aubrey St. Clair, a noted Laguna Beach architect, this two-story home built on expansive grounds has retained its ambiance and charm through the years. Large rooms and the extensive property are a reminder of the days long gone when owners built unique and very individualized manors.

-French Country/Cottage-This welcoming and nurturing home nestles in a garden which is like a painting, as is the
exquisite interior. The garden boasts a rollicking waterfall and pond and specimen flowers. Inside, paintings by the
husband complement the bright and cozy furniture, treasures from European travels and family antiques.

Proceeds from the Home Tour are for 3 projects: Scholarships to women graduates from Saddleback College who are accepted into a four year university -- since 1970, the branch has awarded over $150,000; funds several local
7th grade girls to attend a week-long Tech Trek science/math camp at UCI to pursue their interests in the fields of science and mathematics; provides money to the AAUW Educational Foundation which supports scholars in the local community.
