Fights Break Out All Over San Clemente

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a father-son tussle, a student is beaten and sent to the ER, a rowdy customer, and a loudly feuding couple.

At 8:21 p.m. Monday Nov. 4, someone reported a disturbance in the 2300 block of Calle Loba. A 12-year-old girl called the sheriff’s office, claiming her 16-year-old brother was in a physical fight with their father. Deputies arrived and arrested the 40-year-old father. He has since been released from jail.

Also:

At 3:25 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 5, deputies received a report of a battery in the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares. The caller was phoning on behalf of a 15-year-old girl in the ER who was beaten up by another student.

At 3:33 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 5, a caller told deputies about a disturbance in the 500 block of El Camino Real. The informant claimed a 17-year-old was fighting with three other employees outside a local store.

At 6:01 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 5, someone called the sheriff’s office to report a disturbance in the 100 block of Avenida De La Grulla. The caller said a man and a woman were screaming at each other and was worried the fight would escalate.

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.
