Four San Clemente Businesses Win Coveted San Clemente Watershed Task Force Blue Water Award
Blue Water Award Given for outstanding environmental support to protect San Clemente's watershed
Four local businesses will be presented the San Clemente Watershed Task Force Blue Water Award for outstanding support to protect our beaches and trails at the Earth Day Celebration on April 18.
Stance, a relative newcomer to San Clemente who builds socks with outstanding fit and performance characteristics, recently brought 50 of their employees to a beach clean up. They collected over 200 pounds of trash from the beach and trails.
Lowe’s provides haz-mat collection bins to its customers seeking to dispose of hazardous waste materials such as light bulbs, batteries, and paint. The bins are located near the customer service desk, but smaller ones are located throughout the store.

Layton Construction is working on our new Outlet project. They have installed a complete Storm Water Pollution Program to mitigate construction debris and contaminated water run-off at their W. Ave. Vista Hermosa site.
E. Stewarts and Associates is an environmentally friendly company which recycles and restores construction materials, including wood chips for the trails, mulching weeds during weed abatement to use on the hills to prevent erosion, and restoring native habitats.
