Free Presentation on World's oldest Manmade Harbor

Well-known archaeologist Dr. Greg Marouard hosts a, free presentation on Saturday May 9 at 1:30 at the Bowers Museum, 2002 N. Main St., Santa Ana. Dr. Marouard is the discoverer of Wadi el-Jarf, believed to be the oldest manmade harbor in the world’s history.  Located just 74 miles south of the Suez Canal on Egypt’s Red Sea coast, scholars date it to the time of King Khufu, also credited with building the Great Pyramid
