Gear Up For San Clemente's Bike Rodeo: Save The Date
San Clemente residents can register for the free event for a chance to win some great prizes.
SAN CLEMENTE, CA — Are you bike-ready for the summer season? The City of San Clemente, in partnership with the Orange County Sheriff's Department, is hosting a Bike Safety Rodeo on May 26 in honor of Bicycle Safety Month.
The event is an opportunity for residents ages 5 through 17 to learn more about sharing city roadways, obeying traffic laws and respecting each other's rights of the road.
Residents who register for the event will automatically be entered to win prizes, such as a Mini Murf bike, the city said in a news release.

Youth ages 5 through 8 can attend the event from 3:15 to 4 p.m., the city said. Children ages 9 through 17 can participate in a second installment of the event from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
The event is free to the public, but pre-registration is required through the city's websites. Children ages 5 through 8 must have a parent or guardian with them at all times during the event.

The rodeo takes place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. May 26 at Vista Hermosa Sports Park. Residents can visit the city's website to learn more and register.
