Hop Into Spring With Jam-Packed Springtacular In San Clemente

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — Are you and your loved ones looking for some fun in San Clemente? The City of San Clemente is hosting a jam-packed day this springtime season for the entire family to enjoy.

San Clemente residents are invited to join the city's Recreation Division at Vista Hermosa Sports Park for the annual Sensational Springtacular and Summer Camp Palooza April 16. The event commences at 9 a.m., and includes live music, spring games, a bounce house, petting zoo, summer discounts on camps and more.

The city also invited special guest Spring Bunny to take photos with attendees at no extra cost, though photography services will not be provided.

The annual egg hunt activities, sponsored by the Friends of San Clemente Beaches Parks and Recreation Foundation, commences at 10 a.m. Specific times are to be designated by age group.

In between bunny greetings and Easter egg hunts, residents are encouraged to stop by Summer Camp Palooza to catch early bird discounts before they time out on May 3. Camp Palooza is free and residents who participate will be eligible for free family entry into Splashtacular with summer camp registration, the city said.

The city's Spashtacular event takes place at the San Clemente Aquatics Center the same day at noon, and includes an underwater egg hunt with the "Snorkel Bunny" followed by springtime pool games.

Pre-sale wristbands for Springtacular activities are available for $15 per wristband and can be picked up at the event's will-call booth April 16. The annual Sensational Springtacular takes place at Vista Hermosa Sports Park, 987 Avenida Vista Hermosa.
