Intense Domestic Dispute over Power Tools Results in Arrest

At 6:31 p.m. Saturday Nov. 14, a caller reported a family dispute in the 2400 block of Avenida Mastil. The caller said he and his 25-year-old son were in the midst of fighting over power tools. Both the caller and the son stated the other was crazy. When deputies arrived, the 25-year-old son became aggressive toward deputies and tried to assault them. Deputies eventually arrested the young man, who has since been released from prison after the DA refused to prosecute.

At 11:45 a.m. Friday Nov. 13, deputies received a report of a suspicious person in the 100 block of Canada. The caller claimed deputies had been looking for a woman who had just passed by.
At 6:03 p.m. Friday Nov. 13, a concerned caller told deputies about a suspicious person near the cross streets of Cristianitos Road and the I-5 Freeway. A worried bus driver said a man loitering next to a bus station was possibly drunk and yelling at pedestrians.
At midnight Saturday Nov. 14, someone reported a vandalism in progress in the 3100 block of El Camino Real. The caller said an 18-year-old was spray-painting the side of a local building. The informant claimed when the vandal was finished, he began running toward the back alley of a bike shop. No arrest was made.
