The breathtaking Red Monastery Coptic Christian Church in Egypt is undergoing restoration by a talented team of art historians and conservationists. Hosted by ARCE-OC, renowned art historian Dr. Elizabeth Bolman has prepared a free multi-media presentation for Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 1:30 pm at the Bowers Museum, 2002 North Main Street in the Norma Kershaw Auditorium. Come get a glimpse of the magically luminous paintings they have found beneath the grime and gook of centuries.
