The San Clemente Junior Woman's Club was out Saturday night promoting our Angel Tree and having a little fun at Puttin' on the Glitz.
The San Clemente Junior Woman’s club has been responsible for the Angel Tree the SC Community Center for many years. Unlike many such trees which represent generic gifts for children, our tree asks for a specific gift for a child, teen, senior, domestic violence victim or developmentally disabled person in our community. If the tag says that a 7- year old boy wants a Ninjago lego set, it means that exact gift was requested by a child in our community whose family cannot provide it. The tree is one of the really special projects SC Juniors does for the community.
Organizations supported: Family Assistance Ministries (FAM), Laura’s House, Boys and Girls Club of San Clemente, Dorothy Visser Senior Center and RIO ADHCC.
