Live Classical Music Coming to San Clemente

San Clemente High School graduate Michael Fennelly will perform in a free concert 7 p.m. Friday.
The Bösendorfer artist recital will feature Fennelly at the piano and soprano Megan Weston.
Pieces from Liszt, Schumann, Verdi and Chopin -- all composed for the piano -- are on the schedule, said Lee Van Slyke, who’s helping to promote the event.

“Liszt was the rock star of his generation,” he said. “Fennelly will play this classical piano music. In addition, soprano Megan Weston will add humor and tenderness to the evening. The event will be especially interesting to people who don’t know a lot about classical music but are willing to have fun with it.”
The concert will take place at the Center for Spiritual Living Capistrano Valley, 1201 Puerta del Sol in San Clemente, at the intersection of Avenida Pico and Vista Hermosa.
