Jeep Hits Scooter and Flees
CRIME REPORTS: Also, teens kicking trash cans, a drenched prowler and youths playing with wires.

At 7:46 a.m. Aug. 2, an informant called the sheriff’s office to report a hit and run. A vehicle had struck the caller while he was riding on his scooter. The caller suffered minor cuts and scrapes. The hit-and-run vehicle was described as a green Jeep.

At 12:55 a.m. Aug. 2, a caller reported a group of teens kicking trash cans into the street near Avenida Granada and El Camino Real.
At 10:26 a.m. Aug. 2, someone reported a prowler in the 100 block of Avenida San Diego. The informant said she saw a 30-year-old man with wet clothes walking in her backyard. She claimed the man was twitching and appeared to be on drugs.
At 3:35 p.m. Aug. 2, a caller reported a disturbance in the 300 block of Camino De Estrella. Some teens were playing with electrical wires and skateboarding on church property.
