Measure OO: San Clemente's Hotel Guest Tax Increase Still in Question

A recount has been called for the measure that would raise the San Clemente Hotel Guest Tax.

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — Will your next San Clemente hotel stay have an increase in guest tax? That is still up in the air according to the Orange County Registrar of Voters, Neal Kelley.

Kelley's office will conduct a recount of the ballots cast in the 2016 November 8th General Election, regarding Measure OO - City of San Clemente, and the Increase in "Hotel" Guest Tax contest according to recent release.

The election was conducted on November 8, 2016.

The recount process will begin at the Registrar of Voters office, 1300 South Grand Avenue, Building C, Santa Ana, on Monday, December 12 beginning at 9 a.m.

"Details on the recount status will be located on our website at ocvote.com," Kelley said.
