Merry Christmas: Grace Period for Parking Passes Good Through Jan. 10

With City Hall shutting down for the holidays, you have through Jan. 10 to get your new metered parking decal with no fear of tickets.

If you have a San Clemente parking pass that expires Jan. 1, the city has a Christmas present for you: No tickets through Jan. 10.

The city is offering grace to expired pass holders between Dec. 24 and Jan. 10 because City Hall will be closed between Dec. 24 and Jan. 1.

But, “after the grace period has expired, all residents are expected to have their parking permits renewed,” says a press release from the city.
