Mission Hospital and the Valiant Women Wall of Honor Raise $80,000
Valiant Women is dedicated to raising awareness and funds to support Mission Women's Wellness Center, Breast Center and Maternity Center.
Throughout the month of October, Mission Hospital Valiant Women hosted the Annual THINK PINK Breast Health Wall of Honor and raised more than $80,000 to support diagnostic care and treatment for breast cancer patients at the Mission Women’s Wellness Center.
This event encourages community members to honor breast cancer patients and survivors through a beautiful collection of tributes on the Wall of Honor, which was located near Nordstrom at The Shops at Mission Viejo. It also creates awareness for the importance of mammograms and early detection.
Volvo Mission Viejo and Infiniti of Mission Viejo graciously served as this year’s title sponsors, and displayed an eye-catching bright pink wrapped Infiniti Q60 convertible at the tribute wall and a Volvo XC90 decorated with Wall of Honor daisies.

In addition to the tributes display, Valiant Women also hosted a THINK PINK boutique at Mission Viejo Country Club, a kickoff event at P.F. Chang’s, a cocktail reception at Brighton Collectibles and multiple women’s health education events throughout the month.
Many retailers at The Shops at Mission Viejo hosted special shopping and dining events and donated a percentage of sales to the Wall of Honor, including: Blaze Pizza, Chico’s, J. Crew, P.F. Chang’s and Ruby’s Diner.
