Need A Plant In San Clemente? Garden Club Plant Sale Underway
The San Clemente Garden Club's annual fall plant sale gives homeowners and renters alike a chance to spruce up their gardens or windowsills.
SAN CLEMENTE, CA — Residents of San Clemente, put off the trip to the store for your gardening needs. The annual fall plant sale hosted by the San Clemente Garden Club is returning to town Oct. 9, and offers a wide range of options to help you spruce up your outdoor garden or even introduce a potted plant into your home.
Sponsored by both the San Clemente Garden Club and the City of San Clemente Beaches, Parks and Recreation Department, last year's annual fall plant sale was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic precautions. This year, the San Clemente Garden Club needs your help now more than ever.
"With the cancellation of our major fundraising events such as our spring and fall plant sales in 2020, and our May 2020 garden tour, we need the support of our members, San Clemente businesses and residents to help with the serious shortfall in funds for our annual scholarship program," San Clemente Garden Club President Betsy Dunn said in a statement. "Our spring 2021 plant sale raised $3,000 and we look forward to another successful plant sale this fall."
