OCSD San Clemente Opens Doors To New Police Substation

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — Orange County Sheriff's Department, San Clemente city officials and local community members gathered on Tuesday for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new police substation in City Hall.

The new substation comes years after the previous police substation on Avenida Presidio was closed in 2019 due to asbestos being found while remodeling the building. Since the building was closed, San Clemente Police Services were deploying from the Aliso Viejo substation.

Now, however, San Clemente Police Services will deploy from the heart of the city.

OCSD thanked the City of San Clemente and city council members for their efforts in creating a new substation on a Facebook post, as well as the surrounding community for their continued support.
