One Injured When Elderly Woman Crashed Through AT&T Store in San Clemente
AT&T building suffers major damage when elderly woman drove her car through the front window in San Clemente, CA. One person was injured.

San Clemente, CA--An elderly woman crashed through an AT&T store in San Clemente on June 23, according to reports from the Orange County Fire Authority.

A silver sedan suffered damage, as did the AT&T store, when it drove forward instead of reverse through the front store window at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, on the 600 block of Camino de Los Mares.
According to reports, one person was struck by the vehicle and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Orange County Sheriff's Department Public Information Officer Mark Stichter stated that there was no signs of drugs or alcohol involved in the crash.

"This was a plain and simple traffic accident," he said.
No one at the store was available for comment on store damage or estimated replacement costs.
